Chatting with Bevy Smith for McDonald’s Fruit & Maple Oatmeal Tasting Event
During the “The Simple Joys of Mornings" event, McDonald’s introduced their new hearty Fruit & Maple Oatmeal and McCafĂ© Caramel Mocha to their menu. Also at the event were a variety of lifestyle experts to share lifestyle tips and discuss the new products.
Note: I was invited as media and received a gift bag that included a gift card. Views expressed are always 100% my own.
I met with Bevy Smith, Lifestyle Maven to hear her thoughts about how the Fruit & Maple Oatmeal can become a life sty;e choice. Bev loved that the oatmeal was filled with whole grains and had real and crispy fruit. She felt that having a healthy start to your morning routine would give you the boost you needed for the rest of the day.
Since Bev was the style maven behind the outfits the models wore that day plus one of the hosts attending the event, she knew the important of needing energy to last the whole day through.
After grabbing my bowl of Fruit & Maple Oatmeal, I sat down to talk to Cindy Goody, McDonald’s U.S. Senior Director of Nutrition, and learned more about the Fruit & Maple Oatmeal.
