Teach Kids Time Management with VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch
Last year while in kindergarten, my son started to learn about clocks and how to read time. Most clocks these days are digital so telling time is sort of a cheat for him. But I think it's still important for him to learn how to "read" an old fashion clock face, as well as understand the different ways you can use time.
Note: I received product sample for review purpose. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.
To help teach my son more about reading time, I used one of VTech's newest devices, their Kidizoom Smartwatch. The Kidizoom Smartwatch has great sections for teaching about reading time and time management including an alarm clock, timer, and stopwatch.
My son was really excited about all the different ways he can learn about time. He wore his watch proudly and was excited to share what he learned with friends and even strangers. Ha!
In the video below, I highlight some of the time teaching features and how parents can use them with their child.
While the Kidizoom Smartwatch is awesome for teaching time, that's not the only thing this smart watch for kids can do.
- With the Kidizoom Smartwatch kids can capture photos, edit with photo effects, record videos and play three built in games.
- It has a rechargeable battery and is also PC compatible, so all your kids photos and videos can be uploaded for editing via the Learning Lodge.
- As shown in my demo video, it has a 1.4’’ colour touch screen and built-in motion sensor, as well as a customizable watch analogue and digital clock display.
