Huggy Buddha Helps Celebrate National Hugging Day

By January 12, 2016

Nothing feels as good as hug. It's helps relieve stress, make people feel closer and give your body a healthy immune boost. As children we're taught to hug freely. But as adults we're more selective with our hugs, even with friends and family.

Huggy Buddha Plush Helps Celebrate National Hugging Day

But clearly we need to hug more!

Good thing that January 21, is National Hugging Day. This holiday encourages you to embrace hugging family and friends, and to give a comforting squeeze to those who matter most. This is a great excuse to start getting in those extra hugs!

Nervous to start hugging everyone you know?

Then start by hugging a plush like the Huggy Buddha. The Huggy Buddha even comes in three huggable sizes, The Original (10x10 inches), Junior (7.5x7.5 inches), Talisman (3.5x3.5 inches), so you can start your day filled with warm embraces.

The Huggy Buddha is a soft symbol created for a happy and unique way to celebrate National Hugging Day this January.

Huggy Buddha is a creation of Sandra de Vries, the owner of a boutique shop specializing in Eastern home decorations, who made the Happy Buddha plush to give her grandchild an ancient good luck symbol for a happy life.

Available in the United States from GUND, a premier plush manufacturer.

  10. THis would be so great here for the kids when they are upset and needing time alone. They get plenty of love here, but they do like to go to their room for time alone. I could see this being a huge help for them.
